Muertelegance is a single woman-owned and operated small business in Houston, TX. I have always had an attraction to the dark and unknown. I love anything considered grotesque or abnormal, but I also love the cute and pastel. I have never been afraid to represent myself, so now I guess I'm overly expressing myself by sharing my art with the world. And I love sharing my art with you, my MUERTE BABES! I love seeing you all at shows or markets with my creations. You all always look so gorgeous! Thank you all so much, and a special thank you to those who keep returning to support MUERTELEGANCE. BEGINNINGS
This shop has always been a dream of mine since I was in high school. To be honest, it was meant to be just chokers.
When I was a teenager, I got my cheap chokers from Spencer's or Hot Topic. (Do you know the feeling?) Not only were they not genuine leather and would peel, they often did not fit me! This is why my chokers are made from genuine leather, and the standard fit is 13 to 18 inches! AND if needed, I can go smaller or larger (which I have). Additionally, my chokers are unique compared to anything you've seen. From chokers I expanded to all other adornments.
